Abstract: NOAA has embarked on an effort to create a comprehensive education program for the Agency. A large component of this program involves working with external partners to maximize the use of NOAA's data and data visualizations for the education community.

The process by which NOAA's Office of Education is working to build these partnerships will be discussed with several examples of recent programs highlighted including the Science On a Sphere Education program, efforts within IOOS, a recent partnership between NOAA's National Center for Environmental Prediction (NCEP) and the American Museum of Natural
History in New York, and NOAA's relationship with the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History's Ocean Hall.
